Automatic choke pipes
Question
- Date: Mon, 11 Aug 2003
- Does any one know where I can get a new or good set of pipes for the auto choke on the v8?
- I have MADE a set for the bitter apricott deluxe I am restoring, but I would still like to get hold of a set.
- If I cant, I definately need the insulation to go around the hot pipe.

- Nope - I gave up on them many years ago because they kept burning out, and in this part of the country (tropical Qld), the auto choke didn't work very well anyway.
- I converted to an electric model which works a little better but still needs adjustment between summer and our pretend-winter.
